GX CS1/CS2

Interesting question and it prompted me to look and see. There's lot's of info out there for the CS2 model but not so much for the CS1 model. I did mange to find a spec sheet and it would appear the CS1 model was intended for markets outside the US. Common voltage rating for CS1 is 220v where as the CS2 is rated for 110v. Thats the best I could find in differences.

Hope that helps.

thank you! i guess i should have done more googling myself.

the money i had saved for a compressor is still tied up with amazon/tuxing (specifically the seller sbtechfactory, they are a nightmare, and have plenty of bad reviews i should have seen where people have the same issue), but i think i've settled on the CS2 once i get it back.

although the CS3 has improvements, the CS2 has been running for a while with others on AGN and here fine. i'd rather pay 120 less, and sign up for a 4 year protection plan at 40 bucks in case something does go wrong with the older model

How good are those Amazon Protection Plans? I've never used one, but if they work, it sounds like a good investment. I've not had a single Chinese compressor last me more than a year or two, so knowing it would be replaced if it failed is great, just curious what hoops you have to jump through to make it happen?

i've honestly never had to use one, but can chime in with amazon customer support in general.

i've never waited longer than a minute or two to be connected to an actual human. sometimes i get a us person, sometimes brazil, sometimes who knows, but everyone's english has been good to great.

i've never not had my problem solved my amazon customer service, so i'm making an assumption that they will honor, or force the company doing the warranty's to honor the agreement.

maybe someone else can chime in with actual experience, but based on the customer service i've received so far (especially from a company the size of amazon), i will be buying the plan. IMO opinion they are at the same level as Donny Du, and Kelly from KRAZcool airguns for CS.
