Gurlleu vs SCBA

Just throwing this out in case it may help somebody to have this info before purchasing an air bottle

I purchased a Gurlleu 3 liter bottle and an SCBA bottle.

When filling the guns with the Gurlleu the valve is hard to control to keep from filling at a fast rate.

I just did my first fill with the SCBA and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to control the fill rate. Nice and slow as I wanted it to be.

The Gurlleu was $200 and I got a 30 minute 4500 SCBA for $70.

i'll second that the valve they shipped on my gurlleu bottle was the biggest piece of crap they make ... i researched it after i got it and found them on aliexpress for like 25$ .. yeah .. thats what they put on them .. nice bottle but those valves with the black knob at the top and chrome knurled bleeder avoid like the plague or plan to replace it .... or you can modify it, which i plan to try before replacing mine ... what can be done is to fabricate larger handle disks for the knob and bleeder from something like 1" thick king starboard, drill out the center to fit the knobs and attach with set screws and maybe epoxy, that takes care of the leverage needed to control the valves better ... next, the output fitting can be tapped and a long set screw run into it to restrict the airflow so it fills much slower .. alittle experimenting should yield a good controlled fill rate .. so thats my plans i had my boy cut the star-board pucks for the handles and those should be ready in a day or two, then i'm giving it a shot ... if it works it will save me 100 some odd bucks putting a decent fill station valve on it ...

*edit - got the star-board pucks if you can picture it ..
