Guppy tank valve issue.

Just got a new guppy tank from Joe Brancato's shop and when I initially open the valve to fill the tank or once filled, fill a rifle air leaks a little from the screw on top of the main valve knob until I open it up a good bit. Also, under pressure, the knob is EXTREMELY hard to open or close. Almost have to use all my strength to close the valve.
Something is clearly very wrong here. Any suggestions for a fix or just get a replacement valve from Joe?

Get back to Brancato especially if it's brand new! I hear he's really good about cust svc

Send it back , its under a lot of pressure nothing to mess with .

While Joe will likely take care of the issue, he will also likely just ship out a new valve. Meaning that you'll need to dump all of the air in the Guppy, make the switch and fill the Guppy back up. If you don't have an air source, you'll be paying for the fill. Even if you do have a source, depending on the CFM produced, it may take quite awhile to refill.
