I have a couple of safes - as a rule they hold something like 1/3 the stated quantity of rifles (unless you happen to collect historically accurate Kentucky Rifle muzzleloaders). In any case, there are never enough, and the storage sucks.
Got the "Savior" rack I ordered today, and I'm an instant fan! First it folds totally flat, to about 2" thick, if'n you want to use it at the range or in the field. Second, it handles two different heights, but it's actually more flexible than I thought - each side of the rack has two positions, so there are 4 potential height settings (of which, you can only use two at once). My collection is pretty (miserably?) eclectic, which has been part of the problem, but I was able to accommodate it to 95% perfection (the SK-19 is leaning on the moderator, everything else is held perfectly). From Leshiy 1 to Brocock Bantam Sniper Magnum.
The only problem I see now, is that I have two empty slots...
