Gun rack

I made a few gun racks for on wall. I used scraps wood. Their all different. Just to let any of you know, cause I know a few expressed interest in



making them. 

 This first picture shows a wider board used. Problem, scope adjustment in the way. It doesn’t sit properly either.

 Solution, with the rack down to 1 3/4” wide, the scope bypassed the rack. Also sits properly and safe.

at 25 or so a pop for 'holdup display' hooks that would be a much cheaper option .. how are the pegs secured?

Dizzums their on a 4-5 deg. angle, just friction fit, had to hammer in. They will come out, but not easy. 
‘Does get much cheater than this. The pegs I inherited 19 yrs. ago from my dad, they were the rungs of a baby crib, reused. made 100. Saved $25. not getting hooks. Those hooks up here are $ not 25

I mentioned this post because I noticed a few rifles wouldn’t sit properly on rack. Crow

I made a rack like that, I just put some toy wood wheels (as spacers) on the pegs , when the scope hit the rack before the gun did
