Hello everyone,
I decided to build a Padded Gun Rack to hold various guns at my filling station. As you know some guns have the Pressure Gauge mounted on the side, some on the end and some on the bottom. For me to be able to see the gauge really clearly while filling, when the gauge is on the bottom of the stock ( like my Diana Stormrider ), this Gun Rack will hold the gun safely upside down. The Rack will hold a PCP pistol also.
I made the Rack out of cut dimensional wood and used Elmer’s glue and 1-1/4" staples to hold everything securely together. Then I covered all of the exposed area with a padded naugahyde material to protect the gun. If the gun has a gauge mounted on the side I can remove the Rack and just lay the gun on the top of the station.
Be safe and have a great day,
ThomasT
