Looking for some real world experiences with above. Needs to mount to weaver/picatinny rail. Light weight. Red beam. Quick release on the mount would be awesome. Only need for up to around 40 yards. Needs to mount on top of rail & out to side. Can’t use under barrel mount. Pest eradication. Thanks guys!

I went the cheap route and based off the price and the reviews I went with it. I'd estimate that it's max usable range is the 40-50 yards you need. The reviews indicate that the pressure switch is the weak link. I'm happy with it so far for the price.

Nice I bought this picatinny side mount for adding a light & is quick release for morh of the time Didn’t want an under mount as I rest my gun on stuff when shooting That rechargeable? I still need a good red light!

I have that same mount sans the QR. This light doesn't fit it it. It's too wide. I thought about modifying the mount to get it to fit but with the other universal kount and the one it came with I didn't need to.

Finished project Purchased the ted light referred to above... really nice made bracket from “mounts for “C” cell mag lights now just snaps on/off forearm!

I attached my flashlight to the bottom of the muzzle and wrapped it with construction tape to make it more reliable. This design allows me to be sure that in some emergency situation the flashlight will not fall off. I also use an extra bright flashlight on my head. I like to carry such a flashlight, because the light follows the movement of my head and I can easily find what I need in the dark. In addition, the battery capacity is quite high, which allows me to hunt all night and not worry that the batteries will run out (but I always carry five more spare ones with me).
