It would be a nice gun cabinet. I would make one change. If the sides slid out instead of hinge open it would save a lot of space.

Ya know, the more I think about it the more I like the idea of the hinged doors on Beerthief's cabinet. It would have that "Voila!" factor when you open it.

An adaptation of a jewelry box certainly would win style points, for sure. Make sure to include a full length mirror so you can dress up for your GoPro

I like my airguns to be close at hand. A simple push of the top of either of my two coffee tables and I have access to two PCPs.
I don't think I have a picture but I put a rolling drawer like device under my queen sized bed for my longer guns, mostly pbs. All these storage devices lock. I need to keep curious grandkids away from them so they don't experiment without supervision.
