My son and I went to a farm this past week to shoot some groundhogs. In the past I have shot over 200 in a weekend with powder burners. The farm was overrun with the plague a few years ago and the numbers of groundhogs tumbled. In the last four years I have taken my FX500 with me as I have seen groundhogs along the road that goes through the farm. Last year I did not shoot my powder burners at all. Shot a big one at 132 yards so I thought I would retire the powder burners and only hunt on the road and around the barns. The road has been undermined on the edges by digging of the groundhogs and also by baggers digging after them. We shot 67 groundhogs Wednesday and Thursday. My longest was only 115 yards. Sorry for the poor quality video. I need a new camera.
