Ground Squirrel Compilation at Pala, CA.

I've been messing with the editing program on my PC & trying to learn new stuff. Here's some real speed & Slo Mo clips from my last outing to Pala, CA. (About 20 minutes East of me in Oceanside). 1st shot at 72 yds, last shot @ 94 yds. I was using a .22 FX Bobcat (Thanks for the loan Nick. What a blast! ) & my .30 FX Boss. (The visible orange pellets in Slo Mo are from the Boss. Expand your screen) Hope you enjoy.

(Edit: Oops, forgot the video)

@Gerry52 Nicely edited video. There was one sequence where there were three ground squirrels in the frame and after you shot the first one, another ran, and one remained for a moment and I found myself yelling at the screen, “Get that MFer in the back!” I like how the painted projectiles show up on camera. Do you just spray them or do you use a coat of primer? When using painted projectiles do you find it necessary to clean paint flakes from the barrel after an outing?

Nice shooting Gerry, Pala has lots of GS's, I use to go off of Couser Canyon, A buddy of mine lived on a Avocado Ranch there, lots of GS's and Rats, but he moved to another part of Valley Center, I always wanted to hunt the old Dairy there, but I don't know the owner there, and I'm not about to hunt on the Rez, looks like you're close to me, I'm in Vista.
