Green (lead free) 177 pellets in the Taipan Veteran Experience?

Hi All,

A bit of a reach but does anyone have any experience with lead free pellets in the .177 Taipan Veteran? Shooting will be short of 25 yards. If I can find a pellet the Taipan 177 likes with the forums help that would be great!

No knowledge on your particular combination but in general I'd mention more care/eye protection. I've had quite a few instances of the "green" pellets bouncing back off of harder targets. My Hatsan Gladius shoots lead free .22's very well at lower power.
