Well a few weeks ago I picked up these two:
.22 Haenel Model III DRP, made in 10-1927
Tore it it down to clean and inspect it, refinished stock, seals were good, but I will replace them as time allows, spring is good. It is missing the rear sight assembly, I have one ordered and it should be here soon, it shoots at around 475-500 fps and is accurate or as accurate as you can be using rear sight base and front sight to get on target.
.22 Haenel Model I DRP, made in 1-12-1935
Tore it it down cleaned and inspected, repaired broken stock and refinished, again leather seals were good, but I will replace them as time allows, spring is good. It is missing the rear sight adjustment screw, I have one ordered and it should be here soon, it also shoots at around 475-500 fps and is very accurate or I may only need to install adjustment screw because it’s missing, have no problem groups under a nickel at 20 yards.
Overall I really like them both and they go well with my other old springers.
