A truly great read - both as a chronical of experiments in the 90s and also a reminder of advances (or changes) in springer knowledge over the last 20+ years. If you don't already have them, you might want to get the entire set of Airgun Letter and the "Review" books as well. Money well spent.
While digging around last week, came across a few of Tom Gore's original products, some of which ae mentioned in the book. They are generally superb in design and execution. Has anyone tried the new Vortek products? Have seen mention of them, but they seem to be made overseas. Don't even know f Tom is still the designer.

Glad you were able to buy it for probably the best price I've seen. Would love to have the book, but it's not worth $150 plus to me!Â

Yes a great read and a great price. I sold my autographed copy about 2 years ago to a gentleman in Australia for $80 plus shipping.

I was talked into NOT opening up this new R1 book. After a little horse trading a used one is now on it's way to me, along with some other Beeman goodies.Â
