Even at 115 degrees out! 122 yards, about the farthest I felt like walking. Nsa 49.5gr did awesome! The cover ups are griffin 48 gr ( i swear!) the griffins werent bad but the nsa really shined.
on this target theres a one hole 3 shot group, the covers are trying different holds on the gun. Crazy the difference! The roughly 1” group was jsb 45gr pellets which i was suprised as their moving at 1036fps.
so, the one hole group was shot with bipod, rear bag, normal cheek pressure, medium shoulder pressure, and my hand on the bottle. The 3 covers were free recoiling the gun. Crazy huh? Heres the setup:
Sorry for the sideways pics. Their from an iphone, and clearly I dont know what im doing lol. Overall, was a great morning! What made me happy was the nsa slugs repeated these types of groups over and over. No fliers, no unexpected or unexplained anything. The power of a tuned .30 is no joke either, at 120+ yards, they clear a 2x6. I popped a shot at one I have laying down there and saw dirt fly out the back I couldnt believe it.
