Grands at 50y

Shot 2 cards at 50y today with the grands at 930 fps. Wind was fairly light but unsettled.

First card was a 250 19x. This one's a little better. I can't really say these are noticeably better in the wind than the 25.4 monsters.

I did drop a partial tin of these on the floor and although they appeared undamaged to the eye...they could not even stay in the 6 ring. They were the ones that had previously shot well at 100y. That's something to think about.

Nice shooting!! Off topic but I'm looking to start a 50 and possibly a 100yd bench match at the local club. Is a 35 cal plug standard for both?

N50 uses a .350" plug for Pellet and Sportsman. .224" for Pro.

The .350" is the most common plug for 100y as far as I know.

I wish you gave shooting lessons where I could record everything you say.
Colorado is pretty far for me, but a few lessons would be worth the price of admission/trip.

Hoping one of you N50 shooters can share the ring dimensions of the N50 target.

I went to N50 site and downloaded the two halves of the card (two 8.5x11 sides - left and right).

I printed at “fit to page” as per instructions.

I want to be sure my ring dimensions are good before I print more.

@Sqwirl57 , you should consider registering as a sanctioned N50 club and run your 50Y matches using their targets, plugs and rules. It’s a great organization and I bet you would draw more shooters to join you.
