Long story short; neighbors suck and I am no longer allowed to "shoot my bb guns outside"*edit; I was previously allowed *
Many possibilities have flown through my mind as what my next approach should be at still getting my plinking time in. SO! I did my research and the law clearly states that I am still allowed to "shoot my bb guns" inside my house oooor see attached picture plan being I have made pellet traps that will stop any of my highest fps slinger pellets in their tracks even at point blank range set those puppies up in my shed and lead up some barrels that need itwhat says yall? *will be setting sething up inside soon too‍♂ venting over.

The right to keep and Bear arms.. ( says nothing about being able to shoot them or buy ammo or......lol). Hay was it not back when wayt erp was the law and enforced that no guns in town thing?

Most of the counties and cities around here have similar ordinances. One even has a ban on Nerf guns lol. That why I bought a house in Unicorporated zoning.

I had asked the police of I was allowed to years back, they said yea as long as the neighbors don't mind. They haven't said anything until my father in law "took their parking spot"(it's public parking)noooow it's a problem

Tell your father in law that THAT is the neighbors parking spot. Problem solved. You tell them that spot will never be taken by somebody in your household, as long as the police don't get a complaint about you carefully shooting on your own property. If they balk, tell them that spot will NEVER be open otherwise.

Yeah, it's a bit cutthroat....but desperate times.....

Lawyer speak, it goes both ways. The projectile wouldn't "escape" in the scenario I laid out. It's quite captured, right there in the structure that was designed to capture it.

I thought of this too! I always use a pellet trap and a backstop AND that's behind my paper targets even have it setup to catch any weird ricochet. The only way a pellet is not going into that target or backstop is if its coming right back at me(happened once,thankfully low fps slinger at that time); and I have since fixed that problem as well

This is why I was trying to vent short ok sooooo, my father in law has "parked in that spot for 30 years". And these neighbors moved in about 18 years ago....all neighbors before were cool and friendly. These now neighbors....have had problems with them since year 1 I've been a frequenter of this place for the past 6 or so years. I've witnessed a constant struggle for whatever reason between them. Be it parking areas, property lines, dumpster rights....like literal petty . The whole time I have steered under their radar....now this.

Oh for sure, that's what they intended. But the way it says "building or other structure" opens up the possibility of the "building" and "other structure" not being one and the same.

I work in one of the most highly regulated professions. We've got state and federal laws to deal with, as well as a myriad of alphabet soup agencies trying to tell us what to do. To get licensed in my profession there is an additional law exam, on top of the main board exam. Small differences in the verbiage, like "may" or "shall" have profound effect.

When i was out to liberal, garden city and dodge. The only thing out there to stop a pellet was gravity. Just a whole lot of nothing forever for a long ways..

I live in a condominium and have NOSEY NEIGHBORS. So only shooting I can do is indoors. Electric duct seal has become my savior. No loud impact noises and the pellets stick in the trap. A bonus is that a five pound brick is only twenty bucks and will last for ever.

Honestly doesn’t matter where you go even if you do decide to move. There will always be difficult neighbors or crappy people around to hassle you. I say stand your ground and set up a little indoor range.

When i was out to liberal, garden city and dodge. The only thing out there to stop a pellet was gravity. Just a whole lot of nothing forever for a long ways..

Outside the city yea*i grew up out in those beautiful flatlands ; but now I'm stuck on the literal edge: city limits is 20 ft past the fence; but then it's county/state boys one would have to deal with

I have a friend that shoots out his back door into his shed to the target , about 45 feet of yard between house and shed .
