we have similar problems lol ... snakes eat the eggs and squirrels will chase layers out of the coop claiming the food if theres too many of them ... i got one treading on thin ice past several days, pulled one of my pepper plants over and broke some limbs off caught him red handed .. but it was a one time incident so we'll see if he gets his death warrant signed soon lol ... i'll tell you something thats become a pest lately, most unlikely thing ive seen yet, but i got a bunch, like 10, cardinals around, and theve been getting in the coop after the food .. dont bother me, but lately theyve been getting in the nest boxes and will 'peck' eggs .. not break them .. just put a hole in them ... getting tired of it ...what to do what to do lol ....

Let me tell you... that might have been the FIRST time you SAW the squirrel violate the law, but it will wasn't the only, or last, time. They are the epitome of 'give an inch, take a mile'. Warrant signed, IMO.

I was going to collect eggs and notice the chickens are acting funny, also the squrrels. I when in and if the chicken was not doing what they was doing i would have walk right on him. As soon as i take the snake out grays went in the coop so i loaded another pellet. I am in florida i wear flipflop 24/7 . I wear them gator hunting also. Stay safe out there.
