Got the Diana 48 on the way

The 48/52 are great shooting guns. Be sure to check the stock screws frequently. All that recoil will loosen them and accuracy suffers. If yours is a newer gun I think it will have star washers and that helps.

I have posted this picture before The stock to short for my liking so I installed a slip on recoil pad. Added an inch . No cheek piece. So wrapped in foam shipping paper till I got the desired rise to comfortably use scope then wrapped in duck tape . It the ugly duckling I my line up. It truly is the best fitting rifle I have an it is a darn good shooter. It’s a 177 cal Congratulations on your purchase

I bought this cheek raiser from Hector M for my 48. Since then I found a used 52 stock and swapped them.

I’ve used two mounts with great success. I started with the UTG drooper mount and it worked great but my barrel also makes a left turn so I switched to the Sports Match fully adjustable. Both will get the job done, I’ve tried regular scope mounts but they don’t work, way too much elevation adjustment.
