Got my Unicorn!

Aloha Gang, I finally got a chance to own and shoot a Vulcan Tactic in 30. When I first saw the teaser on YouTube some time ago, I patiently and not so patiently waited for the gun to be released. As a whole there is a lot of info on the Vulcan series but very little on the 30cal and even less on the 30cal Tactic. But then again maybe my searchfu is weak....

When I first shot the Tactic I thought something was wrong with the gun as I was having fliers. It took me almost a tin before I realized that I suck at shooting groups! HAHAHA The gun is capable and I will never be able to shoot to its potential... however here are the best two groups these old eyes were able to manage at 55 yards, one 9 shot magazine on a fill of 240bar and JSB 44.75

Without further adieu, here a few pics of my Unicorn in the wild! 😊

Eh Keone, with the Emperor it tames the bark to back yard friendly. Not as quiet as your Edgun but for a thirty much quieter than my Rainstorm with a Clauge moderator. BTW, I had Will work on my Storm over the Holidays and had him tune the gun with a Roinin I sent him. I should be getting it next week then I can compare the Ronin to the Emperor on the Tactic and Storm. I also spoke to Donny and picked up the Ronin extender to make the gun quieter. He said to add the extender to make the gun more back yard friendly and take it off to hunt and make the gun compact. Got a lot of shootin to do!

Laying off da pigs fo now cause my freezer stay full..... shot anada Boar last month HAHAHA

2manyAirGunz, Me LIKEY the left handed cocking handle! The only problem so far is that I keep lifting my head to cock the rifle. I’m trying to to stay in the scope/gun when cocking. I’m finding old habits are hard to break... HAHAHA.

How do you like your Vulcan 2? I was following your thread as I waited for mine to arrive. I almost got the Bullpup but already own a second gen Vulcan in 25.

Thanks Dairyboy! It was a tough call.... I ALMOST bought a War in 30 thanks to you and a few others but Tony posted that he had these in his next shipment. Since I already had a second gen Vulcan and was familiar with the platform, I decided to try a semi Bullpup in thirty. I’m enjoying the gun but finding it hard to get some trigger time... Hopefully things will settle down after the Holidays.

This Vulcan2 bullpup is a really nice gun. Its accuracy amazes me every outing. And I like the left-sided lever. It feels very natural and allows me to use both hands when shooting -- my index finger of my right hand is my trigger finger. Although, I have found myself reaching for the lever on the left side when shooting my Wildcat, which has the lever on the right side.

I'm waiting for an adapter from DonnyFL to attach an extension to the Ronin LDC, to tame this thumper's bark (82-85 decibels inside my garage).

Any more updates/trigger time @PineappleExpress? I just put in my order with Tony for the tactic w/ synthetic in .30 yesterday. Wasn’t against the Bullpup but I’m a southpaw and wasn’t Any visuals of the Vulcan being shot left handed. I am only 3 months into this PCP hobby and decked out a .25 Airforce condor w/ a Mad Dog Ultima long stock and Tony’s Gen 6 shroud sporting the ATN 4K pro and it’s been an absolute blast. Was going back and forth on what caliber between another .25 or the .30 and feel I made the right decision with the .30 caliber. I’ll definitely check back in once I take delivery and will post some videos of a southpaw behind the rig as well as some videos from the scope. I know one thing, there is a huge lack of videos/reviews of this new rig in English as others have stated so will do my best to give any feedback from my end. Stay safe and happy shooting
