FX Got my king .25 today

Finaly got it after 2 days stuck in the transport.
And what a faboulus looking thing :D
( Grs green Mountain camo).
It is heavy And feels realy solid.
The reg had had i bit og creep cuz it was showing 125bar when I opend the box but after first shot it went down to 115 And stayed there. Dont know if it needs to settle in?
And i tried 25 And 34gr pellets, 26,5gr 33gr And 37gr slug And the 26,5gr slug was the only slug/pellets that were in the "area" it should be (975), the pellets where 990 And 1060 so guess its not tuned for that out of the box xD

The only thing i have to put my finger on is that on fx site it says regulator is externaly adjustable but its not at all with the king since the stock is in the way, im realy tempted to just drill my own hole so I dont have to take it off to adjust.

I was thinking of it, but then again it kinda limits the possebilities of trying different wight slugs?

And does anyone know of side mounted bipod with picatinny so I can use it with grs stock?
Kind of a ghetto option If it has a sling swivel is a pic adapter for said swivel. I use one on my mrod too.

If you do this, I hope you use a crazy sharp brad point bit.

My willingness to drill the hole is based on some things I forget to elaborate on. I've been a professional finish carpenter for 25 years, have made rifles and rifle stocks from scratch and do machinist work as a hobby....... So be careful. I forget not everybody has the same tism I do. Laminate has a tendency to splinter, especially birch lams. Hence the Brad point bit(and sharp countersink) advice.

If its like the impact, unscrew your shroud and use a 10mm end wrench to remove the nut. Slide out the liner with orings and take notice of the liner markings on the pellet liner to see how the marks work. I like the carbon stiffener vs the orings for ease of use and it's cheap enough. Reinstall the liner and search agn for how much to turn the nut after you feel it touch the liner.

If you aren't going to shoot the heavy end for caliber, try it with the pellet liner first. I lost the use of all but the heaviest pellets with my slug liner and I'm married to high power only use which is a little dissapointing when you learn how far these can accurately shoot pellets, including the heavy ones. Example. I got a 105 yard pigeon with a jsb king (25) pellet with 1 shot, just range find, strelok for my 860fps velocity on that gun, dial. Smack! Pigeon hit so hard the dust flew off him like a ghost.

One day I will have exactly your gun for high power use. For now my impact set up for high energy slugs is rarely used anymore and my little dreamline tactical compact sees all the use. 12 yards to 110 on the pellet liner, no slugs.

Best of luck on your adventure with a very very cool gun. I look forward to seeing your posts on your experiences.

This is good info. I can machine about anything. But I’ve splintered more wood trying to install swivel studs than I care to mention. It’s embarrassing.

You just need to take out the back trigger guard screw and remove the guard then you can get to the adjustment.
Yeah that worked great 👌 i settled with 145bar then I have enough adjustment with hammer to shoot 37gr at 1020fps max (hope i find good accuracy around 980-990).

To the one that asked what TR i had, its 1:18 heavy.

And i want a 580 or 700 bottle, think I go with 700 cuz its cheaper than 580 since i can only fill 250bar anyway.

And the hausken suppressor realy do work wonders, the drs i had was way louder with same caliber, length and reg preassure.
On the king i realy only hear the hammer strike and the impact 😁
