Got my first squirrel of 2022

Happy new year everyone. Got my first of 2022 and thought I'd share the video. Shot was taken with a .25 Dreamline and a 26gr Polymag at ~52yds. These Polymags definitely put out more "thwack" than I'm used to with the Kings. I may need to start using them more.

They've been very quiet all summer and fall. It seems they started venturing closer to the house once it started getting cold. This one was #3 in the last two weeks. I'm sure you'll start seeing them soon. Good luck!

Damn! You lowered the BOOM on him! It looked like he had a grenade in his mouth tryin to pull the pin with his teeth before throwing it at you. Good thing you shot him before he could. You might wanna recon that brushpile that he came out of for boobytraps and other squirrel ordinances, tho. Nice shootin'!

Oh his friends were definitely waiting for me. Luckily I was expecting an ambush and got the drop on them.
