My only point is, in all of this, is Benjamin is basically sending out a product that feels like my toddler made it out of Duplo blocks.
Somebody said, “you know what? THIS is the stock we want our customers’ first impression to be formed on.”
Im not saying it should be made of memory foam and curvy tits, I’m just saying damn man, the stock LITERALLY gets up in your customer’s face, don’t put a hard plastic edge there. Put a carpenter level on your cheek - that is how it feels. I compared the two. Not a lot of difference.
Somebody at Benjamin said “this is the way it should be.” It passed through several approval levels, and everybody agreed on it.
And yes, it isnt the end of the world, I still shoot it, and it knocks the poop right out of anything I shoot. I still love the gun. I just scratch my head at their decision. I am an engineer and Im OCD about design decision and approval process. Thats why it bugs me
