Got another Taipan on the way!

The other question I have is - has anyone weighed just the stock? Do you think it is possible to get a little weight loss from further skeletonizing (verb?) the rear and front areas of the stock, which appears to have plenty 'o' material for strength?
I did weigh my .25 Standard when I first got it. 27 ounces.

I always fill to 250 bar but I also have my own compressor. On a 220bar fill (leftover from shooting the day before) I got 45 shots at 28.5 fpe (835-845fps with 18gr) on my shorty before the fps started to fall off the reg. I now bumped it up a bit (850-860fps with 18gr) and expect close to 60 shots on a 250bar fill which from a Shorty is insane! I believe the regs for the .22s are set at 120bar and the .25s are at 145-150bar. On the .25 standard on a 200bar fill I'd expect close to 20 shots at 45fpe. On a .22 you'd still get a pretty decent shot count.
