N/A Got an accurate gun? 100 yard 5x5 challenge

Think your gun is really accurate at 100 yards?

Prove it.

Simple premise, 5 groups of 5 shots each @ 100 yards.
Kudos for no sighters, but I doubt we'll have much participation if we go that route, so sighters are allowed.

Slugs or pellets, pick your poison.

Please include details like: gun/scope/projectile/speed/etc.

If you've got a gun that shoots like this "all day" post up two or three of the challenges (50-75 shots) to help us believe you're not cherry picking.

Will be cool to see if some truly are capable. So far I was positive that my M4 might be capable but now I read low velocity u til it gets warmed up

Similar challenges have come up in the past. And they don't get much participation. I suspect it's because guys are sorely disappointed when the rubber meets the road and they actually have a chance to stretch out the distance.

But I'd love to be proven wrong and see a bunch of awesome 100yard 5x5s here.

I tried this some time ago...not many takers..

N/A - 100yds groups ....No "White Lies"... No " B.S." ... just be honest ..

This is NOT a "My ego is bigger than yours" ... just some interest in real world groups shot at around 100yds ... ANY airgun, any calibre.....Slug..... Pellet. If you were to fire ...... "5" ...... 5 shot groups in still conditions...what would your "average" spread be? :)

I don’t have 100 otherwise I would showcase my lack of skill. Awhile back the backfire channel on YouTube did a similar thing. They posted on social media where they were and invited anyone to show up, pull their rifle out of the case and fire a 3 shot moa group at 100. Pretty much everyone failed. I think one person pulled it off. Maybe I will post here at 73 yards if not many participate. I generally cannot get moa at 73. Lol.

I'll be impressed to see a rifle/shooter that can meet this challenge.

I dont have anything tested or setup for 100yds at the moment, but I do like the idea of posting targets.

Shooting 100y very inconvenient in my back… I can offer 45, 50 and out to 75 but I guess I’ll just have to be jealous at you guys with 100y plus ranges in your backyards

mosquitos were the biggest problem!

Yes, outdoors. Front and rear sandbags, lightweight wooden bench on a wooden deck.

If I don't forget, I'll enter the .177 category next time the winds cooperate. Shoe-in for the Most Improbable Slug-Gun title-

Ok my horrible shooting. Very low wind, the only excuse besides lack of skill is my ghetto arse bench. I’m sure it doesn’t help. Wildcat mk3 bottle .25 shooting 33.95 FX 900-910. I only have 73 yards. Hate to admit these are 73 yards but they are. First group was solid. Measured that just a hair over moa at .75. Downhill from there.

Cole...maybe you could just make it a 50y slug 5x5 challenge. Lots more could participate.

The goal should be 5 consecutive 5 shot groups on the same paper at 1 moa or below....not average of the 5 groups. In my opinion, of course.

Here it is.

At some shots there were sudden wind.

5 X 5 groups.

100 yards.

Now AVS .251 Cal 38 grain slugs.

Remember I do not shot from a bipod and I am not an EBR shooter, so you can do it much better than myself.
