Couple 6x5s shot from this gun in the last few days, also from bucket and sticks.
First time I've shot the gun since the second week of July at an EFT Grand Prix. Tied for 3rd at that match but there were ties above that too, so didnt officially place with it. Won that same EFT grand Prix with this gun in 2024.
.22 Taipan Veteran 1st gen with an RTI "LR" barrel in it.
It likes MRDs at around 950ish.
This tin of pellets was unproven, a tin I won at a recent ft match raffle. This particular barrel is more tolerant of crappy MRD batches than most.
Again, gun is more accurate than this, me, from the stool and sticks was the limiting factor.
The two middle groups of this first one show where I was holding for the wind. Frustrating to hold there when the wind dies and have it go right where you're holding. But such is 100 yard pellet shooting.
Averaging all 12 groups, make the single bull scores come in at about a 43-44. Which would be the five bull score around 215-220. Not bad, from stool and sticks.
