For the longest time I've always wanted a .20 cal PCP. Well there not very popular LOL. I could go with an Air Force which I'm not a fan. I could also go with Rapid Air Weapons. Beautiful guns and would love it but too much money right now. Or an HW100 but just not a fan of them. Gave up on the thought for awhile.

Now back at it and was very close to talking to RAW about cost of one with what I would want. I asked some questions about .20 PCPs and they brought up rebarreling a gun I like instead. So emailed Roy at Mountain Air Customs and he said he can make me a barrel for an Mrod so I ordered a Refurb .177 Synrod from AGD today for $341 delivered. Very excited to get this going! As alot of you know Mrods was my first PCP and still really enjoy them. Very excited to have one in .20 caliber!

IMO, the .20 is the solution to a problem that doesn't exist. If you just want something different or unique, that's fine. But practically speaking, the .20 has little/no advantage over its next door neighbors.

Never said it was a problem just wanted a .20 PCP. Something different. Have a great .22 already and a .177 and .25, .30 is too big for my needs and wanted a .20 just for fun.

Cool. Let us know how it all works out. Will the exhaust port for the 177 be big enough to push the .20 pellet? They are almost as heavy and longer than .22 pellets i believe.

Oh yeah the exhaust port on the .177 and .22 are the same. Will have plenty of power.

.20 is fun, all of them are. Might fill a nich?
Roy's prices are good and he does good work, been around a long time.
I've thought of 1 of his drop in marauder ready .22 LW barrels @180.00 I believe but mine actually shoots about as well as I do these days - just a varmint rig anywyay-.

Yeah I've dealt with Roy before and he's being very helpful with it. Gonna make me a custom .20 LW barrel with a single shot tray built into it and make a piece over my boot and have the oring on the bolt. $215 for the barrel and $35 for the bolt. Total of $591 for a .20 cal LW Mrod.
