have a feeling this is the new norm as far as price goes. Long gone are the $10 on sale tins of the Vortex 30 cal 44.75 grainers. I’ve been watching field supply and other areas daily(sometimes twice a day)that I know that sell these at a great price, and either FS caught on and matched the other places, or this virus epidemic is the cause of this due to supply and demand. Don’t know if anyone knows, but for the last two weeks if not more, these have been unavailable anywhere, period, in the 30 cal and also the 357 cal. The 357 slowly trickled in, then today I see FS finally has the 30’s in. The reason I think this will be the new sale price is because the “normal” price has gone up to $19.99, making $14.99 price look appealing. It’s still not a bad price, it matched Amazons price, but it’s no longer the $10+ a tin anymore.
Who knows? It also could’ve been the cause of the hoarders like we saw with powder burner supplies awhile back, and recently with the toilet paper.
Greed ruins it everytime, in that respect, hoarding.
FYI, I emailed FS asking about stock status, asking if the 30’s were long gone permanently, gone just due to shipping problems, not being manufactured anymore, etc. I did not ever get a reply back. What’s weird is the 177 all the way to 25 Cals were always available. JSB supposedly makes these, but I saw no lack of stock with vendors carrying the 44.75’s or the 50.15’s. It’s these Vortex line that have been unavailable, everywhere. I ran a google search and everywhere I went, I got CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE.
