So I ordered up some JSB Exact Beast Diabolo 16.2gr pellets for my .177 Edgun Leshiy 2 and got this thing ZINGING pellets with prejudice. I was initially kind of bummed about the rifle as it was inaccurate with 10.43gr Hades pellets but now.... now I am super stoked on it.
Working on getting out hunting and fishing more as part of my summer initiative. My current place of choice is a farm that is close by my current work.
Saturday (5/22) I bagged a pair of pigeons (posted here), a chipmunk, 6 sparrows and 10 starlings. Best shot was 44.5yds on a sparrow sitting on a fence post.
Today (5/24) I bagged another pigeon and a couple starlings. Best shot was 52yds on the pigeon in an open field, followed by 50yds on a starling out of a tree. Pigeons are wary of my presence and really try to avoid the silo or overhangs where they can be sniped more easily. I must work on getting inside the cattle pen to put them at ease to land more.
