Good weekend at the farm

Weather was fantastic. Gave the S510 a quick sight in to make sure all was still good. Shot this group at 37 yards (my zero) and deemed it acceptable for hunting. lol

Then got on with business. Set up in a couple different spots and started to slay starlings. Killed more than I care to count. Didn't get a pic though. I did manage to bag a few doves for the pot as well.
Had to bag a few rats as well to keep the farmer happy. All in all an awesome weekend. Can't praise the ole S510 enough. Cheers

Hi Ted. The gun shoots many pellets very well. Not fussy at all. JSB have a slight edge over other brands though. It shoots the 15.9 grain well but it shoots the 18.1 grains just a little bit better.

I've settled on the 18.1's at an average of 888 fps.

The gun has actually shown to be most accurate at a setting of about 19ft/lbs using JSB express 14.3 grain pellets but I like to stretch my shots out on the farm so I stick with full power and the 18's

shot count with the carbine cylinder is not much. 2 magazines but it's a short walk back to the truck and tank. I walk and stalk a lot so I prefer the handling of the shorter gun. I could stretch it to 3 mags if I kept my shots under the 45 yard range but that is getting hard to do these days.

The vermin are not as dumb as they look.

Lol. Probably more info than you wanted but I Hope that helps.
