good or bad ?

It should be a nice purplish/red with no white spots.
I'm not sure the white spots mean it's bad but for cover your butt reasons everything I read says throw it out. If I were starving I might just cook that one a little longer to be safe. I get the feeling it's like salmonella or trichinosis, harmless when cooked properly but....
Don't take my word for it! I only play a Dr. on the internet, lol

If you think ot looks suspect then probably is..

I opened a can of peaches and the juice part did not look right but peaches looked fine .. but i chunked it for another can that all looked fine . Ya, know?.
Times aint that tough yet to risk food poison or a sickness to enjoy a peach..lol ( or any foods for that matter )

The cooked fully and properly is primary.

Thing is around here anymore we dont get the colder weather kinda like shellfish that no r in the month no eats.. / colder weather months . Even cleaning game in 70+' weather vs cleaning game in 60 or less the risk of somthing spoiling or turning before you get it fully put up in the freezer.
