Good night on the rats. Video.

Had a good night on the rats last night. BRK Ghost, . 22 cal; shooting the 18.13 gr. JSB Jumbo Heavy Diabolo’s at 992 fps. Pard DS35 50 scope, Primos Trigger sticks with Bog Death Grip rest attached. Good head shots. Was able to kill 12, but could only get my pickup tongs on 4 of them. I could see all the other dead ones, but just couldn’t get too them because of the locations where they were( implements and a lot of fences blocking).

rut , That's great shootin' ! There are many times pests are taken & not recovered by me also. Just the way it goes. Take the shots when they come , right?

Good for you! Love to see those little guys 'pop' when hit. We don't have many here because we're not feeding animals anymore but glad to see you're doing justice out there. I see your scope shows distance. What scope are you shooting with?
I love to hear the “pop” when the round connects. Sounds so much louder in real life. I’m using the Pard DS 35 50 LRF scope. Once you set the proper parameters and sight in you’re all set. Takes one second to range the distance and it’s pretty damn accurate. Super easy to use and setup to.

Exactly. Take the shot as they come. The good thing is with night vision, they have no clue I’m there. Plenty of them to. Most times they scatter when the shot hits a rat, Then within minutes or even seconds sometimes, they’re back out again. Plus I have different spots there that are separated by some distance which helps. Shoot a few at one spot, move a hundred yards and there’s more that never heard a thing. Just keep bouncing back and forth.
