Good deal on a 6-25x56 FFP scope

i had read some good reviews on Tac Victor scopes, one from someone whose opinion I respect. When I saw this on Amazon for $290 I decided to go for it it normally sells for $349.95 on other sites. It has decent specs buts it a bit on the heavy size but most FFP scopes are. I’ll report on it in a few weeks.

"Brian10956"I have a $1000 Vortex Viper ll that I was thinking of using but it has a 50 yard parallax where this scope is 10 yards. Even though it’s made in China I read they use German glass from a company called Schott
I have the Viper on my 6.5 Creedmoor and was going to try it on my HMx 357 but now I’m rethinking things, I just found a cheaper cost 4-14x44 FFP that I’m trying out to see if I like the FFP and if I do I might lean towards a Tac FFP scope, I’ve heard they aren’t a bad scope, FFP scopes are new to me I’m a long time SFP guy.
Thanks for the heads up.

This is the reticle in the one I ordered it is also illuminated when needed in Red or green

This model do not have the Schott glass. Vector Optics has different classes of scopes, the models that use the Schott cost more than this scope. The 5-25x56 SFP scope with the Schott glass is called the "Paragon" and the 5-25x50 FFP Siegfried instead of Counterpunch. I'm still satisfied with the glass on this version.

Edit: Just checked the price on the Paragon and it's about the same price as the Counterpunch.

The scope I got from Monstrum Tactical is very similar with specs of 6-24X50 first focal plane and only costs $219. I believe this scope is made by Tac Vector Optics but made to Monstrum's spec. What's nice about the Monstrum version is that it has an MOA reticle along with MOA turrents.
I did a review on it a few months back: http://www.airgunnation.com/topic/monstrum-tactical-6-24x50-ffp-scope-review/

They do look very similar hopefully I got something else for the extra $50. What is the close parallax with the Monstum. The quick look I did before my Saturday job the only obvious difference was the separate knob for the illuminated cross hairs. I’ll take another look later.
