My .177 hw97k is tuned to shoot at 12fpe and it is a very effective hunter inside of 40 yards. At that power level, the accuracy rivals my PCPs. 

A sling makes field carry much easier

.177. Also love both the TX200’s and 97’s. Can’t really go wrong with either.
If I were going hunting it would be a 35e, 95 or a 98 break barrel. Good luck Crow

Unless the TX is an SR version there is no "sliding part that reduces recoil".
