Take a good close look at the zoomed in pictures. Seems either brown colored lint or something else in the deeper recesses.

Daystate makes "special edition" rifles all the time. They seem to be geared towards collectors, not shooters. For that kind of money it would need to be in better than NIB condition signed by all the gunsmiths and Tony Belas himself. That rifle has been in the field quite a few times.

Yes indeed and even if it's 1 of 100 PCPs do not increase in value unless it's a one off by a famous builder! And then you have to find the right collector for that sale! I just chuckle when I scroll through eBay anymore
