Huben GK1 Magazine won't index

what can cause my .25 k1 not to index the next shot after pulling the trigger?
A jam. Were you shooting slugs?
Remove the barrel shroud and loosen the four screws holding the barrel. With the barrel loosened the projectile is no longer in a bind and a probe from the front will usually get it out.
I would not recommend loosening the screws that hold the barrel in place as that would cause misalignment issues. You can disassemble the entire gun without loosening the barrel screws.

Why would loosening barrel screws cause an alignment problem? You are tightening against machined surfaces.

there the two screws below the barrel locking nut that have paint over them. those two don’t need to be touched unless you have to re-align (center) the barrel to the rotating magazines ready to shoot slot.

Yeah, it just arrived today. Hopefully there is some fix I can find or that someone figures out later so there is no limit to how much air I can shoot per round if I want to crank it crazy high.

@TrollMagnet Are you sure that you ordered a regulated GK1 from Ares Airguns Tactical? I don’t see one advertised on their site unless I missed something. Was it a custom order?

I repair hubens. Your problem is a very common one. It is caused by both loose ammo and by a loose trigger. If your ammo is the wrong size it can jam the rifle. Use .254 cal or .223 cal, depending wether you are shooting the 22 or 25 cal huben. Mess with the two set screws at the back of the gun, right above the handle. These control the trigger. A loose trigger will cause a bumpfire without you realizing it, and shoots a second shot faster than the huben can reset. Tighten the trigger till you can have a controlled break with only 3 fingers on the pistol.
Different Question: I have a Huben K1 .25. It has been running ZAN .253 38 grain slugs very well. I figured I try the H&N 48 grain .253 and ran a few just fine. Then, a jam occurred. I took the gun apart and the indexing spring has popped out. Any idea hoe to reinstall it? Seems very difficult to compress the spring enough to re-install it under the index roller. Appreciate any insights you may have.
