Getting the Leshiy Ready for the Hunt

I have my Leshiy set-up to go after some groundhogs. I got the 350mm .25 cal. barrel in it, shooting the 31 grain H&N Baracudas at 705 fps for 34 fpe. I ended up choosing the Baracuda because most importantly they shot accurately. Also their extra weight and harder lead should make for better penetration and down range energy. Another thing I noted in the Leshiy was the heavier pellets calm down the guns recoil and report. Mostly the video is typical sight in and getting on zero. At the end I switch to my shooting sticks for my typical hunting method for some practice. The more I practiced with the sticks my accuracy improved. Bill

I have noticed the same with heavier pellets. Just switched to the .22 350mm barrel and first I was shooting jsb 16 grain at around 890 then switched to 18 grain and turned up to be shooting the same speed but recoil and report both seem quieter. I really want to try the jsb 25 grain that I have in .22 and see what they do for the gun. I am in love with this 350mm barrel and I got the DonnyFL thread adapter and have the Tatsu on the gun. So many more shots with the 350mm barrel.
