Has anyone else noticed this? I have bought an assortment of airguns. Next thing is to add 2+ pounds of scope and rings followed by 1-2 pounds of bipod and mount. Then comes a whole assortment of stuff. Slings and mounts, mag carriers with 2-3 loaded mags, cameras and mounts. I've noticed that the majority of my guns have become bench rest guns. HEAVY! Fun to shoot off the bench. Not so much anywhere else. The gun I really love and shoot everyday is my 22 wildcat with no bipod and a 12 oz 4x12 power scope. The operative word here is light weight. I'm wondering if this weight gain is deterring from our fun. I know it is for me. I'm going to put all but my dedicated bench rest guns on a weight loss program.

I'm new to the hobby but from my past firearm experience (many) my goal was to keep my first pcp as field ready and offhand shootable as possible.

I tend to over scope my guns but no matter what they are lighter than my Powder Burners. I like the weight for more stability in "most" cases.
I have a couple I keep light for those days I don't want weight and bulk.

Yeap yeap love the weight on my vulcan with a 4.5-14.5 scope. Started to shoot from a bench and 50 meters a bit more now and now the lightness actually works against me
