Just reassembled my marauder, hammer spring adjustment was stuck, everything fine as far as being able adjust setting now. But now I'm starting from zero, I don't use this rifle to plink, hunting only. I want to now tune for mazimum power as I lost the settings when I disassembled the rifle. Not looking for high shot count, just power! 5-8 shots at 900 fps is fine with me if possible. Any suggestions? After reassembly I adjusted it back to factory specs, hammer 4.0 and inner spring to 1.5.

Do you have a chronograph? I would increase hammer throw to max (max CCW) and then adjust hammer spring until you get your desired velocity, if you dont have a chronograph then go full CW and then back the hammer spring off 1 turn.

ackuric, are you saying to adjust the big screw all the way out and the just work with the hammer spring? I always get confused, the hammer throw is the big screw and the hammer spring is the small screw, correct? The internet assumes that you know which is which. And yes, I have chronograph.

The adjuster in the hammer (smaller allen) will be the throw. The adjuster in the rear cap is the hammer spring preload (bigger allen).
