Umarex Gauntlet SL30 - I'm Impressed!

I went AliExpress for a Acecare 0.7L tank and Huben Power Blackhawk regulator. But any of the Cricket G1/2 regulators will work.

Right now you are looking at $250 at least for both.

They always have great prices, but I've always been hesitant about aliexpress and alibaba, I might have to give them a chance.

Not quite as good now with Tariffs.
Most prices reflect the Tariffs on AliExpress and on Alibaba they add them at checkout.

Huben Power seems to be holding the line on pricing. Still expensive though on their web site.

Since I'm here, I built up a 240cc plenum setup for my G30. Tested before 957 FPS at 2900PSI. Took the regulator and put it on the 40cm tube, u adapter and bottle. Tested that setup 961FPS.

The reason is the port from the regulator into the gun is only a few mm diameter. So having a plenum on the otherside of that small hole is pretty fruitless. I'll tear it down again and see if that port can be enlarged. Maybe over the 4th weekend.

Add that to the list, compressor high side rebuild needed. Slowed way down and the oil starts blowing out the vent when it reaches about 3500psi. Rebuild kit supposed to be here this week. 2 years of hard use, I'm okay with rebuilding after that.

May have to unbox the Yong Heng I've had for a year and fill guns direct.

I'm interested in your findings, this is awesome!

It seems weird that a regulated gun of the Gauntlet power would have such a tiny port.

I doubt that Umarex ever imagined someone would do this to a Gauntlet.
As is my special skill the Gauntlet now weighs several pounds more.

800cc Alsafe bottle
Huben Power U adapter
Huben Power Cricket Regulator 1/2
Shan Bao 40CM 3000psi aluminum tube
Two 3 inch extensions to get the U adapter over the end of the barrel. Otherwise have to remove the barrel to mount the U adapter.

Wow, that is awesome 👌 I feel like I'm just dipping my tie in the water now 😆

But it does not work. No difference before and after. Going to have to tear it down and see if i can enlarge the port. May have to have a new port fabricated. High pressure so the port size might be small for a reason.

Put essentially the same setup on my Evanix .30 Sniper X2 and was able to reduce regulator pressure 500PSI for the same 850FPS.
