Gauntlet regulator adjustment update

Earlier this week I adjusted the regulator on my .22 cal Gauntlet it was factory set at 1100psi and I bumped it up to 1300. So today I had a chance and some good weather too see what the extra output did to my shot count. Well I did lose some shots but I gained a very consistent shooting gun. I filled my gun to 3000psi. The pellet used was 14.3 Crossman premiers. Chronograph 2 feet from muzzle. I was able to get 47 shots before it dropped. The average of the 4- 10 shot strings and 1- 7 shot sting was 886fps with a avg es of 8fps (yes 8fps avg of all 5 strings). Sting 1 had the highest extreme spread of 16fps because of shot 1 and 2 . shot #1 was 892fps and shot # 2 was 876fps. Sting #1 10shot avg 887 es16fps, String #2 10shot avg 888fps es7fps String, #3 10shot avg 889fps es 7fps String, #4 10shots 887fps es 5fps, String #5 7shots avg 881fps.es 5fps. shot 48-871fps 49-867fps 50-857fps and dropping. after 50 shots gauge was reading 1000psi. Very very happy with this sub $300 dollar gun. I lost about 13+ shots but the performance and consistency and accuracy is incredible. I'll have to get a 22ci bottle now.

Spectacular results! I am achieving very similar results with my Gaunty. I really do love this rifle, it is not picky about pellets and it is consistently dropping pellets into a 1" group at 50yards! I mean what more could a guy ask for besides a smooth twist barrel maybe, LOL :)

I can typically tell when the PSI is at 1000 or so because my POI goes left and low.

You sir have nailed it!
