Cracked air strippers is a common complaint in Gen One Gauntlets, liable to get one at any time, until they're gone. Good news is that Gen 2 Gauntlet air strippers seem fine and the price drops on Gen Ones, (Pyramyd Air [email protected] or .25) make for a good deal. WM

Nicely done, Sir, I can't seem to keep up with falling prices. My air stripper was OK, but even at the height of the air stripper fiasco, Umarex didn't seem concerned, they just replaced, as needed. Hajimoto sells a nice aluminum one. Air Gun Detectives has a YouTube video of an easy power upgrade with larger bottle and higher (1900psi to 2100psi) regulator (cost me $67) that the Generation 2 Gauntlet adopted. Also, look into replacing "cigar" internal moderator with baffle design, also adopted by Generation 2. Baffles are cheap on eBay. WM

My new .25 air stripper ok but o-ring fat and butchered. Have very small leak at the 4 screw bottle block. Did 8 shot chrony for baseline:
