Gauntlet 22 did well today - short Video

Had a full video planned but was having some camera issues.

Did a hasty setup last night and headed to the farm this morning. Got 6 pigeons from 45 to 60yds, one starling at 55 and a few sparrows at 30.

I will be installing Hajimoto's 2-stage trigger for sure.

doesnt that wobble mean that the pellet skirt is out of round?

Could be....I just load from the tin without looking at them. Could also be from the rough chambering when I push the bolt forward.....there's nothing smooth about it on this gun.

Sometimes I get them wobbling, sometimes I don't.

I suppose all that is true. I haven't evolved into sorting and lubricating pellets , but if i drop one while loading a mag, i dont use it. ...How are you liking your new position so far? Best wishes.

My FX Dreamline is so smooth it doesn’t feel like a pellet is chambered when I cock the gun. Not sure how FX engineered and accomplished that but I wonder if haji or someone could do the same to the Gauntlet?

That wobble is interesting. Is it frequent, or just an occasional shot that has that issue ? Must be a skirt distortion issue or a pellet with it's center spin axis out of balance.

Haji trigger installed.....amazing improvement!! About to head to the farms.....might stop in the woods along the way to check for red squirrels.

Have the second stage set for minimal but safe amount of creep/travel.

Overtravel set for reliable reset of the sear.

The factory trigger assembly was bone dry.
