Not all gas rams have the same power ratings so knowing which make/model of gas rammed gun might help. Budget probably would too. In my case, I don't have any of the higher powered ones. Hatsan Model 95, Model 87, Norica Deadeye Gas rammed, Benji Prowler now owned by a friend.
Most did or are wearing Hawke Vantage 3-9x40 AO IR scopes. While I know Hawke states the Vantage line aren't rated for springers/gas rams over 12fpe, I haven't had any issues with mine. I also have a Hammers 3-9x40 that's been on several, a couple of those during break in and still works very well.
Nowadays, nothing is truly safe so if in doubt, either a Diana Bullseye ZR mount or a Sportsmatch Dampa mount should relieve any worries.
My .25 cal. HW90 wears a Hawke Airmax and I have had no trouble with it, mounts are a different story as I've had problems keeping them form sliding. Took my gun back to AOA and they fixed it up good, now no problems.
Josh,
My Benjamin (Crosman) Trail NP XL .22 came with a CenterPoint 3-9x40 scope mounted on a Picatinny rail. The recoil on that gun is heavy, but, so far, so good with the CenterPoint. (CenterPoint is a Crosman brand.) I changed scope rings today since I needed more eye relief. Here's a pic.//www.w3.org/2000/svg%22%20viewBox=%220%200%20210%20140%22%3E%3C/svg%3E![]()

Steve, power rating, make/models is irrelevant. If you have a gas Ram, then I want to know what are you using. Pretty simple brother.

Models aside and just gas rams, the power actually does matter or at least it does in my oddball little air gunning world...lol.
I'll use Hatsan as the example. The 95 and lesser model gas rams have 125 bar or something like 1875 psi in them. The 125 and bigger rifles are charged to at least 135 bar if not more which is closing on 2000 psi. No way I'd put the same Vantage scope I use on my 95 on a 125 or 135 without either a Diana ZR or Dampa mount because the recoil from those bigger guns would eat that scope without a recoil absorbing mount.
Two years ago I called Vortex as I heard their Diamondback scopes were springer rated. I had to verify and one quick call to vortex and now I know that future springers and gas rams will get the diamondbacks
