Gamo Urban .22 questions

With numerous searches I cannot seem to find the answers I am looking for about this gun. I am really considering it to be my first pcp gun but have some questions. How many actual pumps will it take to pump back up to 200 bar using a hand pump? I am looking for guns that are possible good for hand pumping so if you have any other recommendation's please comment. Anyone have good accuracy with this gun past 100 yards?

hmmm.. that's what I was worried about. Don't really want to spend the money on a compressor or tank. wonder if I should go for a high quality break barrel instead like the HW 95,

That is certainly an option. But if you want to shoot a PCP that is pumpable, the Gamo Urban may do it for you, but not at 100. Now, the question is, what quality springer do you expect to shoot out to 100?

In other words, if a quality Springer will do out to 50 yards for you, a PCP out to 50-60 will certainly do. No?

I routinely shoot mine at 50 yards. Mine is a .22 and I don't think they sold any other caliber here in the US. 100 yards would be a big stretch. To pump it up, from zero it is going to take about 200 strokes with a couple rests for five minutes or more to let the pump internals cool. I am probably overly cautious and let my pump rest every 60 strokes. Once you have it topped up to 230 Bar, figure on shooting 20 shots in actual hunting. Then I do about 80 strokes to get it back up to 230. Instead, try topping to 200 Bar after 20'shots. You will get a bit more consistancy and it is a bit less effort to get to that pressure. I have recharged mine over 100 times since I bought it and don't consider it to be a chore at all. Very accurate gun for yhe money too. Good choice!

I have a Coyote and I'm pretty fond of it. It's very solid and nicely built for the price. Accurate too. I used it for field target for a while. You can really expect 1" groups at 50 yards with the right pellet and fill pressure. You can also put an aftermarket trigger in if that interests you (CDT-4G). I wish it had a single shot tray though.

As far as pumping goes it's not impossible. Definitely a pain to get it to it's max fill pressure (232 bar), so settling for 200 bar is your best bet. In my experience my Coyote shoots better with that starting fill pressure anyway.
