Loving that the Urban is getting well deserved props. If Gamo made that pickle removable, so that a slimmer LDC could be threaded on, I would buy another one.

I bought one from Walmart and had it delivered to my local store a week ago.Nice gun. I actually got to handle one at a local Bass Pro Shops before I decided to buy. I'm new to the forum and pcp air guns. Since its going to be used mostly for pesting and a little bit of target use, (about 30 shots per month average) I'm trying to decide on going with a cheap hand pump for now or go with a 90 cu in tank. And I'd need to find someplace to fill it.

Just buy the pump if your capable because in your case you would only pump it one time a month....its only 130 cc

Thanks. I think I will get the pump. I'm in the gym a couple days a week so I don't mind the exercise. If I should need something more I'll get a tank then.

For just a few dollars more you can get an electric pump through e-bay. I bought a hand pump and, I'm old enough, and have suffered enough battle scars that the best I can do with a hand pump is 2000 PSI ...... about 1000 short of what I need. Bought one of the cheap electric pumps and no regrets!

canadajack, 125lb on the handle should hit 3,000 with a properly working hand pump. You are keeping your back straight locking your elbows and dropping your body weight on the handle.

Even though pumping up the Urban wasn’t hard, for me it got it got old quickly, especially if you like to shoot a lot. It wasn’t a hardship, it just took the fun out of it for me. If I want to go aerobic I ride my bike...

put on a swfa 10x 265.00 with free rings, level and sun shade. This scope is very good. I can’t say enough how good it is except that I will buy another.
Gamo urban was 199.99 on amazon
vortex diamondback 4-18 hp. 199.99 at sportsman’s warehouse. Did trigger screw mod, camo paint, drilled hole for fill port. The vortex is nice, but damn, that swfa 10 power is sooo clear. Reticle is fine and good for precision work.
the zbroia is regulated. It shoots into a dime sized hole at 35 meters off a primos shooting stick. Ten shot group.
The urban shoots at about a half dollar sized group with most shots centered into a quarter sized group. Ten shot group.
so in the end, the gamo was a very pleasant surprise. Tagged two pigeons on a farm. For 199.99, it’s hard to fault the gamo. No anti double feed, no regulator, but gets the job done.
