Gamo TC45 ?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I'm 58 years old and thinking about buying a Big Bore air rifle and have been looking at some videos on youtube and I'm leaning towards the Gamo TC45. I will be using it for deer hunting 99% of the time. Are they any good?

Who on here has one and what do you think of it so far. What are the pro's & con's of it?

Buy a Texan. More support, more aftermarket ability, and more power. The reviews on the Gamo are dodgey but I haven't fired one nor own one so that is that

I ran the tc45 for 2 years great gun but for a little more u can get the new texan and have a lot more power.. the tc45 will make up to 400 fpe but only with a large slow slug. the other down side is no one makes any after market stuff for it so what u see is what you get. with airforce a lot of people make diff stuff and power mods. i sold my tc45 got a used texan 45 ss for $600 and so far i like it a lot more. if u do go with the tc45 round ball and 45cal pellets will be your best bet

I just haven't heard anything positive about the factory barrels in those TC-45's, but AF is also hit or miss
