Gamo Swarm - Missing O Ring?

A friend of mine bought a brand new .177 Gamo Swarm, and is complaining it is substantially weaker than his other Gamo guns. I figured that sounded like a bad/missing seal. Ive had break barrel Gamos, but it has been a few years since I’ve touched a break barrel.



When I break it open, I see this on the cylinder port. Am I correct to assume there should be an O Ring around this port? There does not appear to be any kind of O ring around the barrel receiver side of the breach, so I’m assuming there ought to be one here?

Or is this by design for the Swarm?

Lastly, if this IS a case of a missing seal, can anyone point me to where I can purchase a replacement?

The breech seal is missing. If this is a new gun, Gamo will send new ones for free. Just call Gamo and they will take care of you. I have got breech seals from them recently and it cost just a few bucks.

That should be it .. but gamo more then likely Should send one free.



They come 1 to a bag so to make shipping worth ot buy a gew or combine a order..

I got the seal in the mail today, do I need any type of glue or adhesive to seat it? Or do I just ram it home and go to sleep?
