Gamo Green Dot

Found this little dot at wally world for like 20 some bucks! My 2nd dot optic to try out. It is VERY bright. So bright that I cannot use it well at night[it literally blinds me a bit ] but it's super fun in the day light! 10 yard usual pest-testing. Not as accurate as the tasco I tried first.[the elevation and windage screws are VERY loose<cannot tighten> so i put a piece of electrical tape over the ends]But I can still hit a gallon jug lid[2nd. Pic] at that distance so I thought I missed and shot again; the first pellet hit funny and slapped sideways on impact. 2nd one slid right through the middle

It's also a very "large" dot !
Smaller dots help greatly. Better intensity adjustments also help greatly. A 2moa dot vs. a 5 or 6moa dot makes a huge aiming difference.

Unhappiness is what normally comes from cheaper dot sights.

yes, sir. It's not a high end dot, but a definite step up from the current he has and will give an opportunity to try a (much) smaller dot. I'll never use it any more so no need to hold on to it when it might make someones day!
