Gamo G hammer 15.42g. .177

all gamo ammo is garbage, even if it's been re-labelled.

of everything i see there...
i'd first question how old those JSBs are. i'd like to assume they're better than today's mold, but eh, let's bet they're fine. JSBs treat me best over-all. i'd pick those off the shelf first.

next, anything H&N "match" seems to do well. their FTTs work from okay to nice across many guns. a lot of my break-barrels like 'em.

i've not used the polymags, but as i'm not a hunter, i don't see the benefit for my #backyardplinking. to me, they seem a little gimmicky, like the gamo red fires. and i don't get the science of how adding a plastic tip and all the extra angles added and risks of poor seating of the tip or any tip for that matter, as they're never perfect... almost mind-boggling the things that could go wrong with those.

me, diablo or hollow-points always do better EXCEPT in 10M where wadcutters rule.

nothing i've had from beeman have i loved. ammo, scopes, a few guns, hell i didn't like my R9. i want to love 'em, but for some reason, they keep falling short of what i like, prefer, enjoy, or whatever. 🤷‍♂️

even the cheap RWS ammo does me well. although i'm not a fan of anything tied to Umarex, i use their ammo regularly.
RWS match and RWS MKs are great for 10M anything.

this is what my ammo drawer looked like before the prices doubled.

I’d say those Jsbs are at least 9 maybe 10 years ago.
Damn Frank. Good eye.

You are one organized man !

I guess I should have mentioned I’d use this carbine .177 with heavies for some pesting. Polymags genrally shoot very good maybe a step behind the Diablo exacts.

My maurader shoots the Baracuda Match to an amazingly small group. 4.53 head size though

Like you said. You gotta try the cheap stuff. I mean the CPL shoot very well and when I had my expensive TX I could use no better ammo for laser accuracy

just a side note: those "beast" JSBs in the lower right corner... strangely enough, the slug-like types of pellets seem to work GREAT in any co2 pistol i've used that'll take 'em. short-range of course, i typically shoot pistol offhand at 10M. has a nice feel to it too.
G hammers are built like that …. But at 15 grain. Don’t know how well a co2 can spit that out.

I have a Desert Eagle Co2 pellet pistol…. Maybe I can try that with the g hammers !
