Tuning Gamo Coyote 5.5 magazine jammed

Hey everyone,



My friend has a Gamo Coyote 5.5 PCP rifle and has a bit of a problem. The magazine and cocking handle of the rifle are both jammed. He suspects that there are multiple pellets loaded and one is stuck between the barrel and magazine. He has tried to push the pellet back into the magazine with a cleaning rod, but without succes. What should he do?

Maybe you can try and remove the barrel? Don't know if you have to depressurize the gun, but I would. Then with barrel removed try doweling the stuck pellets out. Good luck!

Unless you separate the breech and barrel from the airtube you are limited in what you can do. I have a Buccaneer and have jammed mine on occasion. I was abler to drive the magazine out by lightly tapping on a wooden dowel rod held against the magazine. you have to be careful but once you get the mag to move some it will work out.

Cleaning rod and knock the pellet back into the magazine?

Thanks for the help! I forwarded your suggestions to my buddy and he just called, telling me he managed to solve the problem. There were 8 (!!!) Pellets in the barrel.

Then there is a bigger problem.

He's getting a new mag on tuesday from a local airgun store, so I'll tell him to bring his rifle and have it checked by a professional.

massive operator error. He probably should sell that yote to me really cheap.

The whole ordeal made him learn a valuable lesson about how to handle a rifle. Ego got a little dent but rifle is oké.
